About me
Hi,I'm Maarten, I'm 14 years old and I live in the Netherlands in a small place called Baarn. My English isn't very good because my mother-tongue is Dutch. I like to play hockey and tennis, I love reading books. And of course: Adventure games. These are the games that make you think, and use the things you've heard, seen and picked up to solve the problem that you face.
What this place is going to be
I love making homepages and I love adventure games,so why not combine these two and make a homepage about adventure games! My favorites are:
GRIM FANDANGO: a story about the travel agent of the dead; Manny Calavera. He discovers that not every soul gets its reward (or punishment).
THE CURSE OF MONKEY ISLAND: the only game that asks: what's sharper, you're sword or your wit? Join Guybrush Threepwood on a quest to get his girlfriend back out of the hands of the undead pirate LeCuck.
Imagine, it's 2019, you're a special cop, a Blade Runner, you're job is to kill human-like robots called replicants. Not a very happy begin for BLADE RUNNER. But as the game proceeds, you begin to doubt if you're the man you thought you was.
You might have heard of these games,Gamespot elected GRIM FANDANGO (GF) as the best game of 1998, and THE CURSE OF MONKEY ISLAND(COMI) as the best of 1997.
These are the three games my site is going to be about. All will get their own section, containing news, cheats, links, screenshots, downloads and more..
But I don't want to make an adventure site all on my own. I'm going to make a sort of webring of adventure game related sites.
